
The project
„Stay on Track“ wants to tackle drop-out and truancy at school and as an apprentice on the job.
Together with our partners we aim to develop strategies and document good practices in an innovative modular toolbox in order to:

Counter truant behaviour in school and on the job

prevent early school leaving

improve the quality of pupil guidance at school and on the job
Expected main results

Evaluation and exchange of skills and experiences in order to develop new working approaches

A toolbox with a collection of measures, practical approaches, checklist, manuals and good practices

Efficient media for dispersal and implementation of the toolbox

Reducing truant behaviour and drop-out

Increasing the number of “on-the-job-learning”

Increasing quality of mentorship in the companies

Foster networking within regional networks and cross border cooperation between institutions in Antwerp and Vienna

For policy makers: gather data for policy development/refinement

For school management: greater willingness of staff to initiate and try new ideas

For student guidance, pathway counsellors, teachers, social workers and job trainers: exchange of practice and knowledge
